Russell Barley
Director and Founder
Russell established Prodec Networks in 1998 as one of the first independent European suppliers of networking equipment and services.
His previous experience within the IT sales environment helped him identify growing customer demand for buy-back options and refurbished equipment, which he embraced as the company grew.
Prodec Networks’ success as leading supplier of voice and data networking hardware, and solutions and services, to companies all over the world owes as much to Russell’s strong technical IT background as it does to his belief in the importance of first rate customer service and value-for-money pricing. A Cisco and HP specialist, his knowledge and experience and knowledge has also been key in furthering Prodec Networks’ accreditations and partnerships.
Today, Russell controls the everyday running of the company and plays an active role in increasing its product portfolio.
Greg Stone
Director
Greg joined Prodec Networks as Director in January 2006, and has been instrumental in its expansion into the market-leading company it is today. Noted for his strong strategic and operational leadership, coupled with his significant industry experience, Greg is responsible for Prodec Networks’ sales strategy and the management of its sales divisions.
Now owner-director of the Barstone group, which includes Prodec Networks, he has more than 25 years’ experience in the international IT industry, gained through his work with IBM, followed by DPCE, Granada Computer Services, Continua and Romac.
During his career, Greg has overseen the growth of a number of companies in various IT sectors, driven by his focus on ensuring customer satisfaction through understanding their requirements.
Greg’s experience and vision is now helping Prodec Networks to further its involvement in the international arena and expand its IT networking services, while maintaining strict quality standards for customers.
