Avaya will soon end the sale and support of IP Office pre-release 10 software licenses effective Sunday 8 December 2019. This means that ADI licenses for R9.1, R9, R8, R7, R6 and earlier releases can no longer be purchased or supported by Avaya.

What does Avaya’s end of sale and support mean for users of these licences?

Answer - further licenses cannot be added to systems after Sunday 8 December. Avaya will no longer support your system, but please rest assured that Prodec Networks will continue to support you moving forward, your Avaya IP Office WILL NOT suddenly stop working due to this change.

Option one

Upgrade to the latest level of Software – No business risk 

Upgrading to the latest level software offers peace of mind in support being available and also adds new unified communications features, latest applications, handsets and hardware.

To assist in minimising the business risks, Prodec Networks will offer pricing support to assist in the upgrade process by providing 20% discount from license and hardware Costs and 33% discount on all engineering costs.

Option two

Migrate to the cloud – No business risk

Prodec Networks can provide options and costs to migrate your current on-site system to a cloud-based solution, providing access to new unified communications features, latest applications, handsets and hardware.

To assist in minimising the business risks Prodec Networks will offer pricing support to assist in the migration process.

Option three

Do nothing – HIGH business risk

No support from Avaya if any issues arise with your system. Reliance on Prodec Networks only to resolve any issues, if Prodec Networks cannot resolve the issue or it requires bug fixes or software assistance then the problem will persist.

If you require any further licenses for additional users, handsets, lines, receptionist consoles, or voicemail channels; you can't add them.

Stockpile/ purchase licenses at current software version – HIGH business risk

You will be purchasing licenses that you might never use, for a release which is no longer supported.
