Avaya will provide the business version of Avaya Spaces for free to education and nonprofit organizations worldwide until August 31, 2020. This cloud-based app provides easy to use video conferencing, team spaces, and file sharing.

Microsoft Teams

Microsoft will now offer free six-months trials to the premium version of Microsoft Teams to support remote work and global health. Microsoft is also lifting restrictions on user limits to make it possible for users to schedule meetings for video calling and conferencing.

StarLeaf has made a free version of its online meeting software available worldwide. The basic version allows anyone to benefit from unlimited one-to-one calling, meetings up to 45 minutes, IM and group chats. StarLeaf has also created a remote working hub with resources.

Zoom is offering users of its free "Basic" service unlimited meeting time for conferences with 3+ participants. Zoom's free offering is already a popular choice for many SMBs and allows unlimited one-to-one meetings, group sessions of 100 participants and up to 40 minutes.

Cisco has expanded the capabilities on its free Webex offer in all countries where it is available, to include unlimited usage, up to 100 users, and dial-in with VoIP capabilities. Cisco and Prodec will also offer free 90-day licenses to non-Webex customers during this time of need.
